Following a year of live demonstrations and growing engagement with Defence and industry globally, Australian electromagnetic warfare (EW) company Mellori Solutions will showcase its Blue Jay Mobile EW sensor assurance capability at Land Forces 2026.

Most recently, Mellori joined EW practitioners from 36 nations at EWLive 2026 in Estonia, where Blue Jay Mobile contributed to the live electromagnetic (EM) environment, generating representative RF activity.

Modern defence operations are increasingly shaped by the ability to understand and operate within the EM spectrum. As threats evolve rapidly, maintaining confidence in EW sensor performance across platforms and environments has become critical to mission success.

“Sensor assurance can’t stop at acceptance testing. Threats change, platforms are upgraded and sensors evolve. We need to continually test sensitivity, stress-test platforms, and prepare operators under representative conditions so we know how the capability will perform when it matters,” said Darrel Madden, Mellori EW Solutions Manager and former Army EW operator.

Mellori’s Australian-made Blue Jay product family sits at the core of this capability. Blue Jay Mobile was developed with input from veterans and EW practitioners to address testing challenges experienced in the field. Highly deployable, Blue Jay Mobile transforms ranges of opportunity into user-defined RF environments, simulating complex, repeatable signals to test EW sensors across domains. Its software-defined architecture provides flexibility for today’s testing requirements while allowing the capability to evolve as threats, platforms and requirements change.

At Land Forces, Mellori will have a Blue Jay Mobile system on the stand, allowing attendees to see the system firsthand and attend our live session about real-world EW testing and sensor assurance:
