Alkath Group’s GDS had the pleasure of attending the Australian Army’s 1st Brigade Innovation and Demonstration Day last week.
It was an excellent opportunity to observe and hear directly from frontline personnel, to see firsthand what industry can do to help them feel as safe, effective, and comfortable as possible as they work tirelessly to protect Australia.
The day reinforced the importance of industry collaboration—working together, not in silos—to deliver solutions that are robust, easy to use, and focused on reducing cognitive load while enhancing comfort, safety, and capability. These are the kinds of innovations that free up resources for what matters most: projecting force and protecting our nation.
Thank you to the 1st Brigade for hosting such an important initiative. We left with fresh insights and a renewed commitment to apply them in our work—keeping our Defence personnel safe, supported, and ahead of the opposition.
