About the Role
- We are seeking mid-to-senior Electronics Engineers with at least 8 years of post-graduate experience.
- You will be responsible for designing, prototyping, testing and validating advanced electronic systems. The role will focus on testing and verification activities, while supporting the team through design and development.
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver high-reliability solutions for complex defence and technology applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead V&V activities through the development of test plans, procedures and requirements linking
- Conduct electronic and RF component testing at the component and system level
- Generate test reports, COCs and supporting engineering documentation
- Update and maintain the configuration management of systems and subsystems in Windchill
- Conduct laboratory and field-testing using RF instrumentation – Spectrum Analysers & VNAs
- Support the design and development of electronic and RF circuits and subsystems
- Develop schematics using Altium
- Select, verify and validate electronic components
- Prototype, integrate, debug and validate electronic and RF systems
- Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on complex systems
- Work collaboratively with hardware, firmware and software teams
- Contribute to the delivery of engineering projects to specification, schedule and quality standards
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of professional engineering experience
- Strong experience in electronic system integration and testing
- Experience developing test documentation and reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with configuration management and version control
- Ability to produce high-quality engineering documentation
- Experience with schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Experience
- Embedded firmware development (C/C++, VHDL/Verilog)
- RF system design, simulation and testing
- PCB development in Altium
- Defence or high-reliability engineering environments
