You will form part of a team responsible for the development and delivery of the highest quality training interactions within the Electronic Warfare field in major Defence Projects. You will be responsible for calibrating and fitting systems within the scope of services provided by Mellori Solutions. You will assist in the assembly and testing of electronic harnesses and assemblies in a workshop environment as well as support field deployments both locally and interstate.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out systems inspections and calibrations
  • Providing technical support and guidance to RF system design, testing and development
  • Presenting in-house operator training material as required
  • Operating and maintaining Through Air Test Systems (TATS) and other deployable systems
  • Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), installation, proof of concept testing, Validation and Verification (V&V)
  • Preparing for deployment to support testing activities
  • Assisting with the upgrades of Defence RF equipment
  • Maintaining up to date records

Key Requirements:

  • A passion for creating innovative technology solutions in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Cert lV in Electronics or demonstrable equivalent electronics experience
  • Previous experience in a hands-on electronics technician role
  • Proficient in using modern test equipment, including but not limited to signal analysers, vector network analysers (VNA), receiver-based signal analysers, signal generators, power meters, frequency counters, and digital storage oscilloscopes
  • Willing and able to travel for deployment
  • Australian Citizen
  • NV2 Security Clearance (or the ability and willingness to obtain)

Desirable Skills:

  • An understanding of RADAR and EW principles
  • Training Certification (TAE16 or later) and training delivery experience
