You will form part of a team responsible for the development and delivery of the highest quality training interactions within the Electronic Warfare field in major Defence Projects. You will be responsible for a broad range of Electronic Warfare activities including the continued development of capabilities within Defence as well as opportunities for development of hardware and software solutions. Within this role you will have the opportunity to develop as a key member of a highly trained, trusted and motivated team; working hand-in-hand with Defence personnel.
Your duties will include:
- Developing and delivering Electronic Warfare training in simulated and live environments
- Supporting (and eventually, leading) field and classroom-based simulation training activities
- Working outdoors supporting training and testing activities
- Supporting the development of Electronic Warfare systems and applications
- Translation of OEM technical concepts into actionable training artefacts
- Development of User Concepts of Operation and Concepts of Employment to inform our customer base
- Provide SME input to major Defence EW projects
- Engaging with international partners on like-minded matters for business and professional development
- Supporting the logistics, finance and commercial teams
- Domestic travel
Key Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of the Electronic Warfare (EW) domain
- Experience and understanding of the application of Electronic Warfare fundamentals, principles, techniques, and practices
- Experience and knowledge of Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) and Radio Frequency spectrum usage
- Ability to deliver training to customers
- Previous experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional communication
- Basic IT experience. Entry level understanding of IP configurations, switching, routing and IT configuration.
- Hold or able to attain government security clearance (NV2)
- Travel to support testing activities
Desirable Attributes and Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of Defence Engineering processes and be able to advise leadership on these processes.
- Training Certification (TAE16 or later) and training delivery experience
- Working at Heights qualification
- Cabling endorsement
- Experience with Defence exports and Safe-Hand (sensitive item, positive control) protocols
- TS PV cleared
